Heads of IRIMO and NRWO Met and Conferred on Cooperation

According to NRWO's website, in the meeting attending by Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister of Agriculture-Jahad and Head of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization (NRWO), and Dr. Sahar Tajbakhsh Mosalman, Vice Minister of Roads and Urban Development and president of the I.R. of Iran Meteorological Organization (IRIMO) subjects including exchange of data and information; forecasting, monitoring and preparedness for combatting natural resource hazards and carrying out joint projects were the focus of discussions.
Mansour in the meeting noted: "Natural resources are vast in the country and many challenges threaten these valuable resources, so natural resources cannot be managed with a traditional perspective."
The Head of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization (NRWO) said that the knowledge-based view on natural resources management and the use of modern technologies along with the mobilization of public participation of individuals and legal entities in the environment, natural resources and watershed management activities is very important and necessary and reiterated: NRWO carries out physical protection and protects the country's natural resources, especially forests and rangelands by using new technologies.
Mansour cocluded: "Collaboration, coordination, and cooperation at the core of interorganizational can be very important and effective in the natural resources management".
