Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization

25 June 2022 - The message of Acting Head of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization (NRWO) is as follows:

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ)

[Surat Al-Baqarah: 155-157]

Verily we belong to Allah and verily  we return to him

Hearing about the  sad news of the martyrdom of the young elite, conscientious and brave forester of our country, Javad Gholami, the Commander of Forest Guard of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Office (NRWO) of Chenaran, caused my intense sorrow and  sadness.

Once again,  another  forest rangers who was serving at the forefront of the conservation of Anfal (Public Assets), was shooted by profiteering land grabbers and greedy people in the field of natural resources, while this bitter tragedy renewed a steadfast spirit within NRWO's staff making all forest rangers more steadfast in the way of trusteeship for future generations and the greenery and prosperity of our homeland.

While asking the law enforcement and judicial authorities for urgent follow up , I offer my condolences to all environmental activists in the field of natural resources management, especially the breaved family, his colleagues in the Natural Resources and Watershed Management office of Chenaran County and Khorasan Razavi Province and all forest rangers  across the country.
